Chapter 2: Spoken Tongue

//”Don’t leave me here…”// [look down at the feather with a strand of trailing silver hair. ] “What? What am I suppose to do with this???” [Scratches head][Twirls the feather around] // “[looks around] [pacing back and forth in the circlet of light which only illuminates that tiny area.] There doesn’t seem to be anybody else around here. Maybe I’m really alone now. What should I do? I should get down below and find that gentleman whom I saw just now right?… But how do I do that?//

“Ah! Mo! Lets just test this feather out first!!” “Ahem Ahem [Swishing the feather around and shouts into the air] I want to go down!! [Pauses] Impossible huh! Hmmm… then lets try this! Abacardibra! [Pauses] Still not possible!!! What! That’s the magic word I always see in my fairytale storybooks!!! Fairytales lies!” (T.T) [She said the wrong word anyways.] "No no… I can’t be depressed at a time like this! [Gently slaps her own cheeks] Think Think! [Stood up and jumped on the spot hoping to fall through somehow…]

“Ehhhhh!!! Why is there a voice in my head!?!?! Oh no! oh no! Have I gone mental???????” Where? Who? Who are u!?!?!” [Silence ensued all around and there was no slightest sign of any movement.] [Suddenly, something dawned on her!] [Startled] “EEEEYYYYAAAAAA!!! Yulei!!!! Yulei (Ghost) ahhhh!! [She thought a ghost was chasing her and wants to possess her body that's why she started running towards the right corridor without caring where she ends up in.] [pants pants]

~~~[one hand on alley wall, another was grasping her stomach from the stitch she felt from running too fast][pants pants] [She turned to check if she was chased by anyone but instead found out that she had moved away from the spot of light earlier and is now completely absorbed into the darkness. She reached out her hands but couldn’t even see them. ]~~~

[Starts to panic again] // " Oh no! I can't see. What am i gonna do in this darkness if someone attacks me?! Calm down! Calm down! There’s nobody chasing me. Maybe I’m hallucinating that voice! What with me being all alone here and so tensed and on edge! No one's around so im safe for now at least. Hmmm… That must be it! Anyways. Let’s test out that theory!! Keeping my mind occupied on something is better than dwelling on all my questions and starting to hallucinate again.”//

“What’s the first step again? Tie the strand of hair to my wrist.” [fumble fumble] “Next would be to place the feather on the ground right. Yosh! [crosses her fingers and bent down to place the feather on the ground] Hope it really works...”

~~~[She held her breath and gently placed the feather on the ground. Suddenly, an evil greenish golden smoke, which had risen up from below the ground, engulfed her completely and threatened to choke her to death. She struggled pitifully but all the more was he being sucked into the ground like a quicksand, drowning its victim slowly but surely. This scene was similar, just like that for the gentleman; the only difference being her cycle was of a more vicious and skin-crawling one and she begins to descend yet again.]~~~
