Zenith (Prelude+Chapter 1:Cloaked in Shimmers and Confusion)

Prelude
This is a story about Cephei Kiriyuka, 18 sai. Japanese and Chinese mix.
[Why is she here? What happened to put her in this wierd circumstances? What's going to happen next? Well, one can only guess!] (ur not the author! ahahaha)

//"Why is it so dark in here?! It's cold!"// [Blinks][blurred vision, caught a glimpse of her room while lying on her bed. However, her eyelids fell shut again and she couldn’t open them. She tried! but to no avail. ]
//"Why do i get the feeling that I am falling?! No! No! I dun like this! I dun like this feeling! I dun wanna keep falling! Help! Help Me!! ...."// [Struggling madly, hands grasping air. ]

~~~[Just then, she felt a gentle warmth spread up her body as she was slowly bathed in a beam of light. //"Ah... what's this? Something... something feels warm."// [Reaches out to touch this warmth] the darkness seemed to fade away and she no longer seem to be falling. Instead, she sensed that an invisible hand was pulling her up into the light. [A hand grabbed hers] //"Ehhh!! Who is it?.... Whoa! ... now im rising? That’s wierd. This situation is so wierd but nevertheless, i find this more comforting than falling alone endlessly in a bottomless pit! Ah... this feeling.. How nice!" I want to see! The person pulling me up!//


This overwhelming sensation made her forcefully pried open her heavy eyelids, only to find herself staring into a bright bright beam. [shield eyes with hand] //"Urgh! Bright!.... Ehhh... dare?// She saw some shadow! She could barely make out the person who was standing at the end of that beam. That fuzzy shape was near yet far, familiar yet distanced. [Weakly] "Who? Who are u?" She strained her eyes harder but the beam was so glaring and she was so tired from all the struggling that she couldn’t take it anymore and loss consciousness.... ]

Chapter 1: Cloaked in Shimmers and Confusion

~~~[Woke up and was leaning on an old alley wall. Took a step forward but fell back onto the wall. Head was throbbing so she gripped her head with one hand while the other hand was placed on the alley wall to stabilize herself from falling sideways.]

"Urgh...where am i?!?!" [Slowly looked left and right. She was horrified as she could see nth but darkness creeping in. //"Sht! The darkness is gonna eat me up soon!"// [Slowly looked up and...] "AHHHHHHH!!"

~~~[She couldnt believe what she had seen. All of those evil deeds that she had done before had come flooding in front of her, surfacing up to an "inverted" pond-like structure overhead like a slide show. Sudden reviewing of all those terrible stuff (imagine urself) she had done before filled her with the utmost guilt and she, being now all shaky and weak-kneed, collasped onto the floor.] €sobbing sound€ "No.. Im sorry.. Im sorry... Im really sorry... please forgive me!yada! yada! Dame!!!" [She was sobbing uncontrollably and she felt a stabbing pain in her heart.] //"I know, i know. That day is coming faster than i had expected..."//

[Suddenly, she heard footsteps coming from the right dark alley. She saw, through her tear pool as a pair of feet, plodding softly on ... //"What Was That? CLOUDS! What he had walked on became clouds!?!?"// slowly became visible in its own illumination. Then, she unmistakably made out that a great something, which was swaying gently behind the gentleman, almost as if sweeping the floor, was a great pair of pink wings. //Wow! Wings! Like those of an angel's. Wait!! ANGEL? how come something like that is here! Oh wait!! In the first place, why am i here???? I remembered waking up from my dream ... and then......... how??? how did i end up here??? Where???? where the hell is this place??? crap!// [looks around frantically for other sounds of life but there was none. [shocked] look at her own back to see whether she has a pair of wings too. > // “Hmmm... I have no wings huh? This seem so unreal I thought I would have also sprouted wings by now.”//

That gentleman with silky long white hair was cloaked from top to toe in white. [stunned] //"Wow! so beautiful... and he has that warmth which i felt earlier!! That light which radiates from him. Could he be?!?!"// [reaches hand out to touch the approaching image][the gentleman stood before him] [Cephei looked up][gulps] //"Wah... on closer look he is even more beautiful!// "Uno... sumimasen... are you the one just now? the one who pulled me up??"


[The gentleman glares down with cold eyes][with one swift motion, the gentleman pluck out a feather and a strand of his own hair. He tied the strand of hair onto the feather.] "Take it." [trusts the feather into Cephei's outstretched hand> "Harrrrr?????? Whattt?" [Cephei was startled, her mouth hanging wide open] [The gentleman then looked as if he melted into the ground into who knows what is down below!!!!] "Hey… Waittt!!!! Matte teba! Where are u going!!! Waittt!!! Dun leave me here!!!" He left without hearing any of Cephei's pleas. The confused Cephei is now all the more confused and bewildered and lost and on the verge of tears againnnnn…]
